Another major dump last weekend!!! 3 feet in one night,
that is as good as it gets, you could use a snorkel
out there! This is the best early season conditions
I have seen in my seven winters here. It has snowed
a little almost every night since as well another 4
last night made for great skiing today. It has been
bitter cold but warmed today and looks really pleasent
for the weekend. That cold weather had kept the snow
in amazing condition and is turning really well! Highlands
opens this weekend with the new Deep Temerity lift in
action. Going to be crazy out there so get in line early
and get some freshies. Supposedly everything below the
bowl is going to open so there will be plenty of terrain
for everyone. I remember one year Temerity didn't open
until after Christmas, so we are looking great. Snowmass
is going to open the Wall and Campground as well so
there will be plenty of fresh snow there as well. There
is no snow in the forecast for the next few days but
we have more than enough. Race crews for the World Cup
were complaining the it was almost to much to make a
fast course, they have been churning and packing it
to try and make it fast. See you all at the race and
enjoy all the terrain opening this weekend, it's a great
time to be in Aspen!
