Founded by legendary speed skier Jeff Hamilton and Bill Miller, fellow speed skier(130 mph) and Jeff’s world record ski technician, Hamilton Sports is dedicated to providing the Aspen guest (and locals alike) with the finest ski rental experience possible. In April of 1995 at Vars, France Jeff Hamilton achieved what most thought to be the impossible – skiing 150 mph and setting a new world speed record. Jeff also won a 1992 Albertville Olympic Bronze Medal and 4 Speed Skiing World Championships.

Hamilton Sports is a skiers’ ski shop! Run by real skiers - for real skiers. We love the sport and live for it in our daily lives. Owner, Bill Miller spent 7 years as a professional speed skier in Europe, chasing his dream of more speed, and returns to the Alps every year. Our Manager, Steve Ornowski skins up Aspen Mountain more times than most people ski in a whole season. Rebecca Hill left a lucrative profession in San Francisco to live in the mountains and ski her Volkl Gotamas when she pleases. Frank Shine, our head technician can be found on the pages of Skiing Magazine when not skiing the steeps of Aspen Mountain. The list continues with Joe Flamer, who hides his snow mobile behind the gondola at the top of Aspen Mountain, to ski fresh snow when and where he wants. Have you heard our shop’s theme song? Check it out because Brian wrote it, and the kid can ski too. Then there is Jeff – don’t ask him about the dang Red Sox, we don’t want to hear it anymore. Ryan and Steve are the shop’s new rookies…getting these guys off the hill is going to be impossible – we can tell already. We realize how lucky we are to live in such a special place and would like to share our expertise for the love of skiing in Aspen.
